A little while ago I suggested that Diana Vickers may be better than Ellie Goulding. The excellent @CharloteWilson1 has furnished me with the evidence that I was, in fact, right. I do like Ellie Goulding, but when I listen to the whole album her voice gets a bit wearing, a bit whiny, a bit shrill… I know that Vickers’ voice is hardly easy on the ears either in its own idiosyncratic...
